Western New York Legacy
Welcome to Western New York Legacy! The goal of this project is to provide online access to materials that document the rich cultural heritage of the Western New York region. This region is made up of six counties in western New York State: Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee, Niagara, and Orleans.
Many types of materials may be found on Western New York Legacy, including: manuscripts; photographs; maps; drawings; books; artifacts; and audio files. We are committed to expanding this project with the addition of new materials from area libraries and historical institutions.

This project was funded through the Regional Bibliographic Data Bases and Interlibrary Resources Sharing Program (RBDB) awarded to the Western New York Library Resources Council by the New York State Education Department.
